(Sherbrooke) On Tuesday night at the Granada Theatre you could close your eyes and think Freddie Mercury was alive, he had taken the microphone to relive the greatest successes of the legendary band Queen.
That is the impression that might have had the more than 800 people attending the Queen Extravaganza show in tribute to the band formed in 1970 in London by Mercury and Brian May and Roger Taylor.
The illusion of sound came from Marc Martel, a Montrealer who became known after shooting a video in his room singing like Freddie Mercury and was recruited to this adventure to recreate Queen.
But it did not keep your eyes closed for a long time, the Queen Extravaganza had much to offer for the ears and for the eyes.

QEX Play Their Biggest Show To Date!

Last night the QEX played in their largest venue and to their biggest audience since their inception! Over 4,000 fans squeezed into The Bell Center in Montreal to rock the night away!
Drummer and vocalist Tyler Warren tweeted "Tonite was a nite to remember. Thx to all you Montreal-ers for making this the largest crowd & biggest venue to date. I'll never forget."
